If you walked into our house on any given day, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll trip over a baseball bag at the front door, at least one dog by your side, somebody asking for snacks and my reheating my coffee I forgot about three hours ago.

Hi, I’m Erin. I’m wife to Matt, a stay-at-home mom to five, and we have three dogs–because apparently five kids weren’t enough chaos.

We’re also very much a baseball family. Between practices, games, tournaments and everything that comes along with raising five kids, there are some seasons when it feels like we practically live at a baseball field.

I love this season of our life. The busy, the chaos, the ball fields, all of it. Not that some days aren’t hard….they are! But somewhere in between all of that are all the other little things I love too.

Making our 1920s house feel like home. Cooking food my family actually wants to eat. Clothes and beauty. A good cup of coffee. Rearranging our furniture multiple times a month. Hanging out with my family. Decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. And pretty much just trying to make everything and anything a little bit cozier.

And soon, we’ll be starting one of our biggest adventures yet…building our next home. I already have approximately a million ideas for it, so I have a feeling you’ll be seeing a lot of that here too!

If you’ve known me for at least 8 years, you’d know this technically isn’t my first time doing this. Years ago, right after I had my third son, I had a blog. Simply Steigerwalt. I loved having a little corner of the internet to share pieces of my life. Somewhere along the way, life got busier (can’t imagine why..) and the blog became one of those things I stopped making time for.

But lately, I’ve found myself wanting that space again.

A lot has changed since then. Our family is bigger, life is definitely busier and I definitely have a lot more laundry…but I think that’s exactly why I wanted to start again.

Staggs & Co. is a little bit of all of it. Our home, our favorite recipes, things I’m wearing and loving, raising five kids, baseball days, our future home build, and whatever else comes along with this season of our life.

Basically, it’s life between games.

So, here we go again. I’m really happy you’re here.
